IKM had a busy summer.  We were in the US Virgin Islands filming with Oceana and Kate Walsh, we went to South Korea to film the story of LG Electronics, went off to Toronto to film a new pilot, and Jim and Patrick jump back on a plane to Incheon, Korea for a new project  Just in the past year Patrick, Jim, and the IKM group have filmed in Mexico, Brazil, India, Germany, Austria, Italy, London, South Africa, and Korea.  With two new offices opening up – the first in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (led by dear old friend and colleague Daphne Herrick) and a new expansion into Korea and Toronto with Producing partner Jennifer Harkness – we’re going global and looking for some new people who have a desire to travel.

Mike has spent the past 20 years as Creative Director for companies such as McCann Erickson, JWT, Hill Holliday, and DMB&B.  He has worked as a director, producer, and writer on various television, radio, and print campaigns.

IKM is preparing to film two new feature films in 2010. The first is called “Like Summer, Like Rain” with writer/director and good friend Frank Whaley. Jim and Frank have been developing this project over the past year. They brought on veteran casting directors Barden/Schnee and they have commenced pre-production on it.

The second film is a thriller/suspense film called “22 Deaths (or so) of Dan Tee” (superbly written by Richard Mancuso) and they are proud to have Karl Geary attached as the lead, Dan Tee. Production will begin in February of 2010.

IKM editor Joe Sciarrino and his wife Karri had their first child, baby girl Sophia Frances, on September 1, 2009.

IKM Productions is very excited to welcome Jimmy Price to the IKM team. Jimmy just got back from the Toronto premiere of the film “The Good Heart” for which he worked as the line producer. Jimmy will be co-producing and line producing an upcoming slate of movies.
